Imagine...A Simple Vision
A vision for us...change the conversation in our community about the Church and God. So what is it that we concentrate on next in light of today's sermon? What I came away with today is that people are important to God. That's what this is all about, the people. We need to see the people in our lives the way Jesus sees them...Want for them what Jesus wants for them. And even if like Peter we have had our faith shaken, our dreams or expections messed around with, Jesus patiently, lovingly gives another chance to see the potential we have to see this vision fulfilled.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.(NIV)
This week let us remember and act like people are important...all of us!

I have had time to reflect on struggles this week. We have so many and at times they seem so important. And they are important to us and to God. But when I thought about the people who have so many struggles just to keep alive I am struck by my abundance. I am so grateful that ccc is seeking how to help the truly impoverished. I can't wait to go forward.
I also appreciated the clarity about the 1st and 2nd commandment christian view that Pastor Dennis spoke of.
